Jim Burgess replied to the topic I am going away. How long can I hold my listings in an unsold folder? in the forum eBay 4 years, 4 months ago
They remain in unsold for 60 days, unless you use turbolister.
(You can keep them in turbolister indefinitely but that program requires constant maintenance)
If you think you won’t have time within that period, I sometimes save descriptions and photos in a file for relisting later.
(lucky you, enjoy the holiday)
Don’t think you can remove it but try going in and change your promo settings.
Select the account tab then communication prefs.
Scroll down to promos and surveys, select show to the right.
Un tick all boxes and save.
your tea cosies are up, but some buyers (especially those on their phone) may think that the $29 is for all 3 cosies as shown in the photo.
you really should revise your listing to state clearly that it is only ONE cosy for $29 and that the buyer should choose size and design from the drop down menu. O’wise you may have an irate buyer causing…[Read more]

an auction is an invitation to treat and therefore any bid is merely an offer
the only exception to this is an auction without a reserve in which case the the auctioneer is contractually bound to knock down the item. (though not necessarily to the highest or lowest bidder)
In you case it has not be…[Read more]

I just looked at a topic on this subject but it was written last year some time.
Can anyone tell me where to find the number of free listings we have?
Also, someone wrote that you could see at the bottom of the selling page, how many free ones you still had.

I want to know that do my ratings carry over from individual to an ebay store?Anybody please answer.
No, there are no terms. You buy or not it’s upto you. It is an auction, not a sale. No inspections, no nothing.
In the US you have to show proof of funds before you can even bid. I would think Australia is the same, just to minimize law suits. And trust me if you bid and then fail to pay in the designated time frame they will come after you…[Read more]
Jim Burgess replied to the topic A buyer has left negative feedback with no previous communication with seller in the forum eBay 4 years, 4 months ago
The buyer doesn’t have to contact you before leaving neg. feedback.
It’s bad manners as well as not being the way to resolve an issue but there’s no obligation for them to do so.
You could request feedback revision if you wish to. Good luck.
Jim Burgess replied to the topic Why would an item of clothing that didn't arrive be ineligible for a refund? in the forum eBay 4 years, 4 months ago
For future reference it is usually better to open an item not received dispute through Paypal. Although the seller has protection if they can provide a valid tracking number you can usually get them to pay up if the item shows as not delivered or does not say delivered to the buyer’s suburb. Even if it does show that offering to send a Stat Dec to…[Read more]
