What are you looking for in your first home? Having a clear idea from the start will save the amount of time you spend searching on the net and staring in real estate agency windows.

Ed Person replied to the topic How come ebay is auction in nature but their terms and conditions? in the forum Buying at Auction 4 years, 4 months ago
Yeah, at least in the U.S., the word “auction” has all sorts of legal implications that E-Bay wants no part of.
Ed Person replied to the topic Is this palm treo will be a good buy from online auction website australia? in the forum Buying at Auction 4 years, 4 months ago
That is a great price for a pretty useless device. Palm OS and 200Mhz processor, don’t expect much functionality from that PDA. Basically if you are looking for a toy that is your $10 quick fix. Have Fun!
PS: you have to pay to bid? 🙁

If the ebay system allows, open an unpaid item case to ensure you get your fee back.
Then close it 4 days later.
If you send a mutual cancellation she may disagree and you cannot open another case.
Should you not be able to open an UIC, call ebay, explain and get them to open an UIC.

There were a few posts about this recently.

I am planning to launch an online auction site, a lowest unique bid wins here in Melbourne,Australia. So i want to know about some questions which are listed below:

I want to know that is it possible to buy a house at auction and add a special condition to the contract? I require a home loan to buy something. Any purchase I make needs the bank to come out a value the property. I also need to get a building inspection done. I am just worried that if I did buy something and for some bizzare reason the bank…[Read more]
Ed Person replied to the topic Buyer decided to change his mind. Partial refund agreed. in the forum eBay 4 years, 4 months ago
As you have only partially refunded the buyer I presume part of what you ‘charged’ them was for the final fee so it would be rather dishonest to cancel the sale so ebay refunded your fees, the buyer may very well realise you were double dipping and would refuse the cancellation. As you had not refunded in full that could cause problems.
I would…[Read more]
