I have been both a buyer and seller on eBay Australia for the last 8 or so years.

I used to sell quite a lot when I was working in a second hand shop, we used to sell our excess stock on eBay and always got a good price for it.

eBay Australia has made/announced changes that I strongly disagree with and I am looking for another site to buy and sell on.

I also dislike the way eBay is turning into a shopping centre, forcing out the small sellers in favour of large, powersellers, who seem to overcharge on postage and sell inferior quality imported items.

I dont like the way eBay has incorperated ‘Drive’ into its car listings. I buy and sell a few cars and enjoy looking in eBay auctions for a bargain. eBay motors now takes 2 minutes to load, because there are 19,000 listings, most of which are classifieds.

Anyway, I have tried Oztion but there is more life at a morgue. High prices, sellers dont return emails and its full of scammers. I bought 18 items and was scammed and ripped off on 4 purchases.

Is there another Aussie site which sells second hand items at auction?

Alternatively, Auction Alfie Australia is a good tool to search them all – including ebay and oztion.
